이번 전시 ‘구름의 시간’은 불확실하고 혼란스러운 시간 속에서, 참아내고 기다리는 시간을 의미한다. 낮과 어둠, 수많은 거친 날들이 지나도 어느샌가 다시 담담하게 나타나서 유유히 존재하는 구름은 비록 손에 잡히지 않는 것이라 해도, 우리가 각자의 고단함을 잠시 내려놓고 싶은 순간 바라보는 존재이지 않을까. 작가는 간결한 형태, 완만한 곡선, 부드러운 색을 통해 그 담담한 온화함을 추상적인 언어로 표현하고자 한다. 이 전시가 이 시대를 살아가는 모두에게 각자의 구름의 시간을 잠잠히 들여다볼 수 있는 자리가 되길 소원한다.
The title of this exhibition, ‘The Time of Clouds, ’ means the time to be patient and wait in an uncertain and chaotic time. Even after the day, darkness and countless rough days have passed, the clouds calmly appear again as always. Though it’s something we can't reach, it would be something we look at when we want to let go of our own burdens and tiredness for a while. I want to express the serene views in the abstract language of concise forms, gentle curves, and soft colors. Hope the show offer viewers an opportunity to find their own Time of Clouds quietly.
